When OpenPhone is the better choice
A US/Canada team that lives on a shared business number — calls, texts, voicemail, one inbox. That's Quo's product and it does it well. Parlacall is not a phone system; it's the international call your phone system can't or shouldn't make.

Is OpenPhone the same as Quo?
- Yes — OpenPhone rebranded to Quo. Same product, same plans.
Which countries can't OpenPhone call?
- Quo maintains a blocklist including China, Cuba, Nigeria, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Somalia, Guinea, Gambia, the Maldives, Tunisia and Zimbabwe (per their support docs, checked July 2026 — the list changes, check theirs for today's version).
Do I have to leave OpenPhone to use Parlacall?
- No. Keep your Quo number; use Parlacall for the calls it blocks. They solve different problems.
Does Parlacall give me a business phone number?
- Not like Quo does — today our US numbers carry your caller ID on the calls you make. For receiving calls and texts, Quo still fits.
Can Parlacall send or receive texts?
- No. Outbound voice only.
